about

."For years the dirty bluesy rockers Junkyard Choir had been playing as a duo. All that changed in 2019, when the band imploded in Brighton and exploded out of Croydon as a 7-piece adding saxophone, Hammond organ and backing vocalists. During this tumultuous time longstanding drummer Tom Herbert emigrated to Switzerland leaving Mark Woods (ex “Do me bad things”) to lead the charge into new found territories. The band’s third album “Wild ones never die” is the first with the bigger band and pushes the band’s sound even further whilst still holding true to the roots that came before. Probably the best bar band you’ve never heard of".
